Hi klmirish. I found out about the door. It's kind of a neat story. The door dates all the way back to the 30s when the house was actually built. The anchor shaped door knock came with it and still carries the initials of the original owner. The owners also told me that the house is passed on from owner to owner without a key. Quite amazing. Needless to say though that they cannot trace back who made the door. A good, old carpenter I presume.
