Just stunning. I particularly like the wall colors. Of course the dining room is perfection. The chairs are covered in a most interesting fabric --- Not sure about the Peacock colored wall in another room...but, of course photography sometimes is untrue to real life experience. Thank you for this lovely tour

Thank you for your nice commentary. The Galapagos Turquoise color on the walls was just to add drama. I am such a minimalist that the color was a tough choice. You know the great thing about paint, if you get tired of it you can just paint it over! BTW- that color is only on a small section of-one- wall in the entry way!

Don’t want to commit to colorful cabinetry or other built-in items? Go for bold blue furniture instead. Chairs are a breeze to change out later if you fall in love with another hue.

Judy Polan added this to Milo Baughman: The Cary Grant of Furniture DesignDec 18, 2013

With their soft, gently curving seats supported by solid, rectilinear chrome frames, these vintage dining room chairs are classic Baughman.

Vanessa Brunner added this to Houzz Tour: Warmth Amid the Berkeley FogAug 21, 2012

Burke played with a palette of soft mushrooms and grays for the main rooms and hallways, adding warmth and showcasing the owners' art collection. The stunning Ango chandelier, made from silkworm cocoons, is one of Burke's favorite pieces in the home. "It seemed to fill the space beautifully and be another almost piece of art as well as a lighting fixture," she says. Chairs: Vintage Thayer Coggin, upholstered in fabric from Urban Burp; chandelier: Ango, Studio Workshops; artwork: Rebecca Whipple
