Division StreetIndustrial Bedroom, Portland

A huge wall of windows faces the bed and billowy parachute curtains soften the space. The room was left simple and intimate to create restfulness.

Hey There: we were not involved in this project, but it seems that they used roller shades for darkening and draperies on the side for privacy and the view. Depending on your room, there are several options you have to get privacy and light management in either one window treatment or a combination of it. Normally, the best result for black out you will achieve with honey comb pleated blinds - they are installed right on the windows as inside mount and you don't have the ususal 1/2 inch or more gap as you have on a roller shade...Feel free to visit us online at www.PleatedBlindsStore.com for some ideas...

The owner purchased the fan and light so we do not have the source. Check out Modern Fan Company, http://www.modernfan.com/veloHugger.html for the fan.

Paint colors are challenging to answer because usually they have been fine-tuned on site so we don’t have a specific paint color. Also colors vary greatly in photos from actuality and even further from computer screen to computer screen. We recommend getting small samples and trying them in your home to see how the colors work with your specific light.

      10. Ground floaty fabrics with black. Strike a balance between masculine and feminine by pairing light, gauzy blue and white textiles with stark black painted trim. Diaphanous curtains, delicate ticking stripes, and even vintage lace-edged sheets feel less frilly with a bit of contrast.
