Your bathroom looks great! For your wainscoting, did you nail down wood panels or individual strips of wood?

Thank you Laurie. They are individual.

No. I'm sorry it was out of a local artist's estate sale
He was an amateur artist. These were some of his class sketches.

This wainscotting is trimmed out plywood beadboard(Lowes, Home Depot). It's painted but not waterproofed.
  • Eric Bricker
You can buy pvc bead board at lowes, it it as water proof as you can get.

I can suggest a few similar colors - Benjamin Moore's Kendall Charcoal or Midsummer's Night (which is a bit more brown).

No ideabook on stools would be complete without a ceramic stool. This one really stands out providing color and pattern against expanses of solid white and dark stone.

This eccentric stool adds print and texture to this spare bathroom, as well as the perfect perch for a glass of Cabernet.

Well it's finally happened. The West borrowed Chinese garden stools from the far East, brought them onto the porch, then the living room, and at last to the bathroom! This piece adds global texture to this bathroom as well as provides a spot for your towel, wine or tabloid. If you need to supervise little ones in the tub, it's a great seating alternative to, well, you know.
