I recently saw a newer pink bathroom with black and white accents. Loved it!

I have this exact bathroom layout in my 70's Raised Ranch. I was wondering, because I can't view it from the photo, in the bottom right hand corner of the photo and just to your right as you enter the bathroom from the hallway, what did you do with that space?

It is a (small) linen closet.

We bought our house and we too have the pink tile restroom to include tub and sink.. We have gone round and round with either renovating or just spruce it up! I love this idea and we are working on sprucing it up for the time being- we have the paint ready and I have ordered a shower curtain similar to this one, and getting new faucet --- let's see how it goes

That's great! Minimal investment to see if you like it!

I was wondering where that vanity came from? I love the extended countertop.

Hi! It is original to the house. I painted it Mole's Breath by Farrow & Ball and the previous owners had the pink granite cut to replace the original starburst Formica. :)

That countertop ruins the bathroom. It is a complete mis-match of the style of the bathroom.

My grandmother taught me "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all." There are lots of things I see on Houzz that aren't my thing but I don't comment on them. Politeness can exist on the internet too!

I think this bathroom looks awesome! I would only like to see the bench recovered in a pink and green fabric. Other than that, you're correct: some of us have to do what we can with what we have and I think it's lovely.

Hi! I like to use simple hooks for hand towels. In this case, it is the Sussex Double Hook from Pottery Barn, in chrome.

It is from Target about 6 months ago- the Nate Berkus line.

    It is awful in there.

The vanity is 21" deep and from the wall behind the sink to the opposite tile wall (that creates the walkway) is 48".

What is the dimension of bath space and specs of vanity?

Hi! It is a vintage mirror. Maybe look for a similar one on Etsy or eBay?

Hi, the door does open into the bathroom. Opens right, but it is just out of view in the photo.

In this case, that 36-square-foot canvas is white and ruffled. Along with the bright green rug, it tones down the overall color palette and takes the focus off the oh-so-pink tile. In fact, it turns the tile into something worth embracing.By the way, pink tile gets a bad rap. It’s very embraceable; it just served as the poster child for dated bathroom decor for a while. Check out these fabulous pink bathrooms embraced by Houzzers.

Granite countertops installed by the previous owners match the original pink tile in the boys’ bathroom. Lesley painted the walls a medium gray in hopes that the color might neutralize the “fleshy pink” a little. The decor gave Lesley another opportunity to play. “I ignored the fact that it was a bathroom,” she says. Over the toilet she hung a collection of oyster plates and over the vanity an over-the-top gold mirror.Wall paint: Metro Gray, Benjamin Moore
