Duboce Park Industrial Modern Industrial Entry, San Francisco

Stylish brewery owners with airline miles that match George Clooney’s decided to hire Regan Baker Design to transform their beloved Duboce Park second home into an organic modern oasis reflecting their modern aesthetic and sustainable, green conscience lifestyle. From hops to floors, we worked extensively with our design savvy clients to provide a new footprint for their kitchen, dining and living room area, redesigned three bathrooms, reconfigured and designed the master suite, and replaced an existing spiral staircase with a new modern, steel staircase. We collaborated with an architect to expedite the permit process, as well as hired a structural engineer to help with the new loads from removing the stairs and load bearing walls in the kitchen and Master bedroom. We also used LED light fixtures, FSC certified cabinetry and low VOC paint finishes.

Regan Baker Design was responsible for the overall schematics, design development, construction documentation, construction administration, as well as the selection and procurement of all fixtures, cabinets, equipment, furniture, and accessories.

On the wall opposite the bed, the designer installed interior-worthy wooden bike racks. She also created bookshelves in that beloved orange hue.Bike racks: CB2

5. Bright hues. Of course, an alcove doesn’t have to be shy. Consider making one the center of attention with a coat of bright paint. If a niche doesn’t have a physical border, simply tape off a 1- to 2-inch edge before painting to give it a stronger physical presence.See more bold colors for niches, nooks and cranniesSimilar paint color: Rumba Orange 2014-20, Benjamin Moore; bike racks: CB2

Wall-mounted bicycle racks. Wooden racks add a stylish touch to this entryway and keep bikes off the floor and out of the way. Stacked one atop the other, the bikes almost become sculpture. A bright burst of orange also prompted many Houzz users to save this photo. It’s a preview of the rest of the home, whose owner loves orange and used it in touches throughout. 3. Red, white and blue. With a little forethought, bikes can be placed in a way that complements the color palette of the room. This red and blue pair look like pop art against their white wall.
