Thank you Brian Dittmar Design for sharing this info with all of the Houzz community. I am browsing for a rug and just came across another designer, Meredith Heron, that basically stated that designers do not want to give out information unless you hire them and was rather arrogant about the $20,000 rug that someone was inquiring about....someone suggested a similar rug....it didn't go over well. It left a bad taste in my mouth. So thank you for sharing your design ideas!!! I LOVE the rug and I hope it's closer to my budget;)

Roughly how much would an 8x11 custom rug cost?

The pillows were all custom made by my local workroom. They are 3 colors of Kravet microfiber and the ball-pillow is in the same fabric as the ottomans. Except for the round pillow, they're fairly straightforward pillows so you could probably find similar ones at a place like HomeGoods.

    Hello-

I had those ottomans made by my upholsterer here in San Francisco. You can find similar ones made by Lee.

    Thanks!

Hi -- it's actually a broadloom carpet that was bound with a contrast canvas tape binding. Thanks!

It was an original piece by a local artist, so not something that can be purchased.

It's about 14 x 14 with one corner clipped off due to the fireplace. Feels bigger with all the windows. Hope that helps.

I believe it's made by Stanton. We had it cut and bound locally. You would need to consult their website to find a retailer near you.

I'm sorry, but I don't really understand your question. There is no "color chart" for leathers. This one is from Lee Industries. It's a dark chestnut brown.

I'm afraid I don't have that answer. It was purchased at a showroom at the San Francisco Design Center that is no longer in business.

Coffee table is made by CR Currin. The side table is by Arteriors I believe....or possibly Roost -- I purchased it at a local furniture store that has since closed.

Finding the style of sectional that you like is the easy part. Quality manufacturers offer lots and lots of custom options. Stickley and Miles Talbot are just two that will allow you to select (among other things) the depth of the sectional, arm style, back style and cushion content. If you special order, you’ll have to wait eight or so weeks for your sectional to arrive. But you will be able to specify the exact look, feel and size that you want.

Movable feasts. These elongated ottomans have almost the only pattern and color in this room. Ottomans are the perfect prescription for a design deficit, as you can place them wherever the pattern is needed.

When it comes to natural upholstery, Pennsylvania designer Sherri Blum says one material stands head and shoulders above the rest. “Making the investment in leather is always my number-one recommendation,” she says. “You can’t beat leather. You can spray Windex on it, for God’s sake, and it cleans up.”
