Funny how this depicts stainless steel shelves in their list of storage ideas...but when asked who makes them, there is no reply!

Attention: To the person who posted these photos: Please let me know exactly what subway tiles these are, I still haven't seen that question answered from the original poster. Thanks

Historically, the grout would be a medium grey because dyes were not used in the aggregate. However, today the grout color is a personal preference. Using a white or light grout creates a uniform appearance where the grout lines fade into the tile visually. A darker grout sets the tile off accentuating the grout line and defining the tile itself. In the picture immediately above, it looks as if the wall grout is white and the floor grout is grey. However, in the two other pictures it looks as if the grout is grey. Please see these great representations of our subway tile. We can be reached at 888-387-3280 or sales@heritagetile.com if you have any questions.

Try looking at the Lancaster collection at tileBar.

I just installed this tile or something very similar. Although, the photo doesn't show the nuances of the handmade tile. I looked at two manufacturers. Nanda was the first but for the color I went with Horus Art. Love it! Just trying to decide on the grout.

Yes, those are vintage MacKenzie-Childs dishes, bowls and mugs. Unfortunately the new owners have retired the featured patterns that are pictured here.

I have these same knobs and pulls, I got them at Dexter MO. at a small lumber store.
  • lauriebtown
Check out Restoration Hardware online. They have pulls that look just like this as well as other similar styles. You can also can them in other finishes.

That looks to be Carrara, a classic and durable stone. I can still stain, so be careful to clean spills quickly, especially acidic juices.

It does not show water spots.Cons: Lighter-colored granite composite sinks can stain, and some special maintenance is required.“We are installing a lot of granite composite sinks in Dallas,” says Flatley. “Many people here have hard water, and this doesn’t show spots the way stainless steel does.”More about granite composite sinks
