This room is gorgeous! I just looked for the leather chairs on Safavieh's website, but they aren't there. Do you know the manufacturer? Thanks!

It's been quite functional actually. I'd rather sit in those that anywhere! :) You just have to be mindful of seat height, table height, arm height and if the table has an apron when your doing this.

8. Hit on a vibrant hue that makes you happy. Pay attention to your emotional response to color everywhere you go. Did the lush turquoise of the water on your Caribbean vacation make your heart sing? Run with it! Focus on updating one room that has been living in mostly neutral colors up till now and add several healthy doses of your happy hue.

1. Go with bold color in lighting. This dining space feels so bright and colorful with really just one color accent and bright white walls. Drama comes in via twin chandeliers in a bold turquoise, repeated in the chairs and curtains.

A large-scale ikat print gives this room’s host and hostess chairs a worldy presence. And the table’s pagoda-style birdhouse picks up on that global vibe. The faux feathered friend inside provides another lively shot of the turquoise that unifies the space, from the tablescape and chairs to the window panels and chandeliers. The avian centerpiece also connects with the woodland view.

Remember that a centerpiece needn’t be alive. A favorite large bowl, a sculpture, a piece of driftwood, a runner dotted with seashells, even a chinoiserie birdhouse can make a wonderful dining room focal point. See eye-catching centerpieces beyond flowers and fruit

How to add color to a white-walled room. It may seem a bit counterintuitive, but white walls can actually be one of the best choices for people who love bright, bold color. The reason?
