A full inside-out renovation of our commercial space, featuring our Showroom and Conference Room. The 3,500-square-foot Andrea Schumacher storefront in the Art District on Santa Fe is in a 1924 building. It houses the light-filled, mural-lined Showroom on the main floor and a designers office and library upstairs. Contemporary glam meets moody blue hues in this Denver kitchen designed by Rivington Marx Interiors. The sleek, chic, saturated in blue luxury kitchen features a dreamy herringbone to the ceiling tile backsplash that is the dramatic backdrop for sleek cabinetry. A custom black and brass-trimmed range hood brings warmth, lighted glass-front cabinets are like artwork, and oversized white drum pendants add a soft, modern contrast. It's a kitchen masterpiece in form and function, the definition of elevated elegance, where rich color married refined design.

This custom remodel of a pre-war kitchen on the Upper West Side of New York City incorporated a Bohemian theme, modern lighting, Sherwin Williams custom color blue cabinetry in a two tone with maple stained upper cabinets. The backsplash was custom made and we incorporated a farmhouse sink into the kitchen design.

This kitchen proves small East sac bungalows can have high function and all the storage of a larger kitchen. A large peninsula overlooks the dining and living room for an open concept. A lower countertop areas gives prep surface for baking and use of small appliances. Geometric hexite tiles by fireclay are finished with pale blue grout, which complements the upper cabinets. The same hexite pattern was recreated by a local artist on the refrigerator panes. A textured striped linen fabric by Ralph Lauren was selected for the interior clerestory windows of the wall cabinets.

Inspiration for an eclectic galley enclosed kitchen remodel in Other with white cabinets and stainless steel appliances

Jenny was open to using IKEA cabinetry throughout, but ultimately decided on Semihandmade’s Light Gray Shaker door style. “I wanted to maximize storage, maintain affordability, and spice up visual interest by mixing up shelving and closed cabinets,” she says. “And I wanted to display nice looking things and hide uglier things, like Tupperware pieces.” This was key as her original kitchen was dark, cramped and had inefficient storage, such as wire racks pressed up against her refrigerator and limited counter space. To remedy this, the upper cabinetry is mixed asymmetrically throughout, over the long run of countertops along the wall by the refrigerator and above the food prep area and above the stove. “Stylistically, these cabinets blended well with the butcher block countertops and the large Moroccan/Spanish tile design on the floor,” she notes.
