Very good for keeping the kids occupied and out of your way while you are working.

Can you tell me what design firm supplies those kids? I've been remodeling the home for the holiday, with candy, to attract some kids. I have a lovely property in the forest. I like that you can fit them all under the stairs. But I'm wondering if they'll compact into a kitchen. A kitchen oven.

This play nook is similar to the one we now have in our home. Using a curtain in the doorway will help you keep an eye on the kids as they play.

Another secret fort hidden by a curtain is bright pink inside.

A simple curtain and some bright paint under these stairs is more than enough to entice a tot into the cozy space. Kids love to have a little hideaway of their own.

Under-stair nooks. Take advantage of nooks and crannies. Kids love them because they’re just their size, and you’ll love it because it gives them somewhere to play and keeps all their stuff out of sight. A nook under the stairs is always a winner.

If you don’t need another bathroom, why not turn the empty spot under the stairs into a fun area for kids? The coolest part is that you can get away with painting it bubble gum pink and not wonder if it will work with the rest of the house. The kids will love it and will remember your house forever. I know this because my aunt had one, and it was so much fun. Plus, we’d keep ourselves entertained for hours on end, and the grown-ups never bothered us.

Kids love to play in small, secret spaces! A nook under the stairs is a perfect place for a secret playspace...and extra toy storage as well! I'd love to hear your ideas for creating fun play spaces for your kids!
