Mockingbird Home
This 1980's traditional home was remodeled in 2014, expanding both the kitchen and master bath to provide generous space for a busy family. The master had two bathrooms. We expanded one into the adjacent closet and converted the other to a closet. The result was a beautiful, large, light, and bright space.

Studio Em Interiors
Complete Master Bath remodel. Closet space and an alcove were taken from the neighboring bedroom to expand the master bathroom space. That allowed us to create a large walk in shower, expand the vanity space and create a large single walk in closet for the homeowners. This made the entrance to the bathroom a single entrance from the master bedroom versus the hallway entrance the bathroom had previously. This allowed us to create a true master bathroom as part of the new master suite.

We used a glass tile as an accent and gray hexagon mosaic stone on the floor. The bench is topped with the countertop material.

StoneUnlimited Kitchen and Bath Remodeling
When deciding to either keep a tub and shower or take out the tub and expand the shower in the master bathroom is solely dependent on a homeowner's preference. Although having a tub in the master bathroom is still a desired feature for home buyer's, especially for those who have or are excepting children, there's no definitive proof that having a tub is going to guarantee a higher rate of return on the investment. This chic and modern shower is easily accessible. The expanded room provides the ability to move around freely without constraint and makes showering more welcoming and relaxing. This shower is a great addition and can be highly beneficial in the future to any individuals who are elderly, wheelchair bound or have mobility impairments. Fixtures and furnishings such as the grab bar, a bench and hand shower also makes the shower more user friendly. The decision to take out the tub and make the shower larger has visually transformed this master bathroom and created a spacious feel. The shower is a wonderful upgrade and has added value and style to our client's beautiful home. Check out the before and after photographs as well as the video! The Jackson II Expanded at Cambridge Shores
The Jackson II Expanded at Cambridge Shores
Ball Homes
The Jackson II Expanded adds 353sf of living space to the Jackson II floor plan. This spacious four bedroom home has a downstairs study/guest suite with walk-in closet, which can be configured with a full bath and a bay window option. A mudroom with storage closet opens from the garage, creating a separate entry to the guest suite. A large pantry is added to the kitchen area in the Expanded version of the plan. Space is also added to the family room and dining room in this plan, and the dining room has a trey ceiling. The relocated utility room offers the convenience of second floor laundry and a folding counter. Bedrooms two and three share a private hallway access to the hall bath, which is designed for shared use. The primary bedroom suite features a large bedroom, a reconfigured bath with dual vanity, and a room-sized closet. A garden tub and separate shower are included, and additional luxury bath options are also offered on this plan. Like the original Jackson II plan, the two story foyer has a railed overlook above, and encompasses a feature window over the landing. The family room and breakfast area overlook the rear yard, and the centrally located kitchen is open to all main living areas of the home, for good traffic flow and entertaining. Nine foot ceilings throughout the first floor are included. Exterior plan details include a metal-roofed front porch, shake siding accents, and true radius head windows.
