We make a similar product, heavy duty bifold door. Our laundry bifold door is louvered for proper venting with the dryer. Check out some pictures below.

What are the width and depth of these appliances? We are trying to do the same but having a hard time finding the right size washer/dryer.

What are the dimensions of this laundry nook?

I still think, from an engeenier's point of view, this assembly feels quite... "wrong". No matter if advertised as stackable, stacking that heavy machines on top of each other is bound to drastically reduce their lifecycle... Still a great Idea though... Perhaps consider adding some support below the top machine!

Sorry I don't know.I didn’t purchase this. The contractor did. You can pick the door any manufactures. This style is a single panel square corner with a paint finish.

Not my pic but, the shelfs do not pull out. These look to be shelf brackets from Ikea! Just tossing in my one cent!

I have the same washer and dryer set, only I have mine side by side, and the washer is the one on the bottom in this photo. There is a drawer for the detergent, softener, and bleach that pulls out on the front of the washer to the left of the round knob.

              2. Avoid carbon monoxide buildup. Carbon monoxide is a toxic gas that is extremely hard to detect due to its colorless, odorless and tasteless form. In addition to being extremely flammable and hazardous, it can also cause flu-like symptoms and has the potential to be fatal. In your laundry room, ensure there are no disconnections in the vent line that would allow this harmful gas to escape and build up in your home.

              9. In a corner. Carve out a space behind a wall and transform a small area into a functional, compact laundry with lots of storage. Stacking the washer and dryer makes the most of the area available, while plenty of shelving to the side allows for laundry items to be kept close at hand. Note the inclusion of strip lighting above to ensure that this nook is well lit. Bi-fold doors are a popular choice, and it’s easy to see why: They fold right back to allow easy access within the nook, but slide closed with a simple push to hide those things we’d rather our guests didn’t see.

… and laundry rooms. I can speak with a fair amount of expertise about these challenges, since Mike and I live in a wonderful — albeit desperately dated — 600-square-foot bungalow. The kitchen is a nightmare for my husband, who loves to cook all over the kitchen, and the bathroom is the size of a postage stamp, with an old pedestal sink (old as in 1960s, not old as in charming vintage) and not a stitch of storage. Only our laundry room is spacious — and that’s because it’s across the lane and coin operated.
