Fairmount Townhouse

Powder Room, New York

These selections convey a light and whimsical feeling. I mixed organic and geometric elements to create an interesting and contrasting composition. The wallpaper has seafoam green tones which match the color of the hexagon floor tile. The hexagon floor tile matches the hardware (towel ring, towel hook, toilet paper holder) which all have geometric similarities to the hexagon shape. The circular mirror is mounted on pivoting hardware so it can be positioned for the most ideal angle. Pivoting mirrors are a nice touch because they add more movement to the room. I added a side view to the mirror (located below the faucet) if you would like to zoom and see the hardware on it better. The vanity and the ceiling light bring in natural warmth with their red/orange undertones. These compliment green well.
