I love this room but wondered if you can you tell me what the metal piece supporting the stairs is called and where purchased? I saw this used on an HGTV show but searches for "floating stairs" haven't produced the info.

It was custom fabricated by a metal shop because of the many related variables. We're not aware of pre-constructed versions that are practical.
