No, this is a custom design, but something similar could be design and built to suit your needs. Consider hiring a local architect to get started!

The other thing I was wondering:

What was the primary motivating factor to build a free standing headboard?

Maybe to have an open bathroom behind the headboard? But from your picture above it doesn't look like that.

What is between the entrance door wall and the bookshelf side of the headboard?

It is a beautiful headboard, and the outlet visible inside the cubbyhole is clever.

The large ones to the right in this image are double hung windows, while the smaller ones to the left are casements - all from Marvin Windows.

Do you routinely use Marvin windows with good results and happy clients?

    Hello,
That is Chatsworth Cream #225 from Benjamin Moore paints in Satin Impervo finish.
    Hope that helps!

    Hello,
I believe the typical side casing on the windows and doors in this home is 4 1/2 inches wide, but the mull casing between ganged window units is 3 1/2" and yes, we try to use the same trim throughout the house.
    Hope that helps!

    Much appreciated! Thank you!

This is custom made, and it is doubtful that you would find a similar piece, given the electrical components.

Not at all. Since this was a custom built-in we were able to coordinate the sidewall switches, outlets in the baseboards and the nightstands (built-in on the other side) as well as the sconces on the other side as well.

Add a headboard. A bookcase can also function as a dividing feature, anchoring a centrally located bed and placing a read within reach.Browse headboards

Get creative with freestanding pieces by utilizing one side as a decorative headboard and the other as ample storage, like this example. Pieces like these are ideal solutions for loft spaces or studios if you’re trying to create a distinct bedroom space.

Here a custom cabinet does triple duty. On the side we can see, it is a bookcase. Although we can't see the other side, notice how the ends are closed on this side. I bet that on the side toward the bed there are shelves or drawers for use as the bedside table. Also, judging from the light switches on the end, my guess is that there are lights on the other side too. Super functional!
