Cushman Design, Is tis really California Gold slate? Looks more like a gray slate, with quite a bit of clefting to me. Thank you for clarifying if you can,I love this look.

It's beautiful and I chose this slate for my laundry and a bathroom. They're installing now and I'm wondering what type of sealant you used. It still looks natural, not too shiny!

What are the overall dimensions of the shoes cubby tower? And, of each cubby? Are the bottom ones taller for boots?

We appreciate your inquiry. Interior paint and stain finishes are quite specific to the geographic location of a room or space and solar orientation. CDG works collaboratively with our clients and skilled applicators to achieve fully integrated color and interior design solutions. For this project we used all Benjamin Moore paints. Cabinetry: 912 linen white, Semi-gloss (N333); Walls: 912 linen white, flat finish (N215)

The benches in this picture are 1'-7 1/2" above the floor. Typical bench height can vary from 1'-4" up to 1'-8".

It's roughly 10" deep at the narrowest point and 16" deep at the deepest.

Here’s a great example of how you can use every scrap of space by building storage from top to bottom. These handy cubbies for shoes, and lots of built-in benches, make use of all the available space.

Rachel Grace added this to Heighten a Room With Vertical Tongue and Groove Wall PanelingJan 20, 2013

Painted in Benjamin Moore's Linen White, the vertical tongue and groove walls enhance this Vermont home's organized mudroom and help make it feel larger.

        2. Ultimate organization in Vermont. A little simpler in style than the previous space, this entryway provides great storage inspiration. Shoe cubbies for everyone in the house keep this space clear and clutter under control.

If you're looking for even more order, try customizing your unit with cubby boxes. Your kids have probably already used cubbies in preschool, so they'll understand right away how this new system works.
