My dining room table is similar to the one above, but I am always worried about the sun taking the colour out of it, so it is permanently covered in a terracotta chenille cloth, Does anyone else have this problem or an alternative solution apart from moving the table itself.

I live in Guadalajara, México and here there is a tree calles Parota that is actually protected and looks very similar to this table. Check parota tables on the Internet and you will be in love immediately! They even have crevices where you can insert glass (which is why we did with our new table!). These trees can be cut round or rectangular even and since are custom made and depending on the tree, you can find combinations of colors and different widths to accommodate your needs.

I hope I was of some help. I bet you didn't know about this tropical tree.

And by the way, they deliver, at least most of them in Tlaquepaque, internationally, because they are used to receiving tourist looking for wonderful different stuff.
