These are reclaimed barn beams that we source from Wisconsin.

Are the beams in the photo faux beams from the link you provided? Do you know which finish color on these beams?

    Hi there,

Wondering what type of oil you used to finish your beams (linseed or tung oil by chance?)

  • kesullivan1969

Can you tell me the dimensions of this room?

The floor is rough sawn pine.

  • Ali Grant

I'm floor shopping now. So is this pine or Oak? Do we have a tie breaker? ;)

We use cedar for a lot of porch floors. We also have used pine, Brazilian cherry, and oak.
  • hokiedale

Can you use vinyl planking? Our porch is glass surround and concrete floor.

Is the shiplap ceiling also painted White Dove (matching the trim?)

  • safemommy

Also can you please share the sheen used on the ceiling, it's gorgeous!

Could you share the type of wood, texture (hand hewn?) and color? Thank you.

The owners found a lot of the fixtures in this house on their own. Not sure where they exactly came from.

  • L Cole

Pier 1 is currently selling them 11/29/16.

These are 9' ceilings. It isn't to low to use beams on 9' ceilings. One thing that we also have done is that we split the beams so they are not the full thickness. This also gives the illusion that they are actually part of the structure.
  • profboardman

After splitting, approx. how tall do you think the beams were? 8" or 11" or so?

The floor was coated with a clear sealer. No stain was added.

The walls are tongue and groove pine. The home owner wanted this room to be rustic, but it still ties into the rest of the home.

This room is a 4-season room. There is forced heat/air in this room and Marvin windows.

The floor is white oak rough-sawn planks which are faced nailed down to add character.

Love the wood floors and wood beams contrasting with white. The beams look ruff and old
