FoyerMediterranean Entry, San Francisco
A Mediterranean built in 1923 is made timeless with Venetian plaster arched walls. An antique flat weave rug is given new life as upholstery on a club chair. Iron work was intended for Hearst Castle, but was deemed too modest by Julia Morgan, and sold to the original builder. Leather camels add a touch of levity.

What Houzz contributors are saying:
This Mediterranean house was built in 1923. The corridor ties together Venetian plaster arched walls, Spanish tiles, and deep burgundy hues. The chandeliers cast a warm shadow in the adobe walls, and small tables display the homeowner's antiques.
