    Thank you! The exhaust hood has a custom canopy fabricated from hot-rolled steel with a custom patina applied. The Living Room fireplace, directly opposite has this same material and tapered volume detailing. Please see images in other photos from this project!

    Thank you so much. This island cabinetry was actually built new, and then custom-painted and distressed to match a finish found on a vintage piece. there are modern appliances located on the other side of the island!

    Orange countertop? Not certain what you mean... The island's red cabinetry is painted with a faux treatment to appear vintage/ distressed; it has a gray zinc counter.

    I love the vent hood. Is this patina simply a rusting, or did you apply chemical to the rolled steel? If chemical, what did you apply.?

    I believe it was a chemical, but our fabricator chose it himself - based on some images we'd provide so he could offer samples. This is the sample we chose, and it is then finished with mop-n-glo for a matte sheen.

- Can you provide details for the can lights used on the sloped ceiling? I need the height and output. I am estimating (from your earlier comments) that they are approximately 12 feet high, unless there are some further up that aren't visible.

    Sorry, i do not have that information on-hand, as the Electrician supplied all recessed fixtures and striplights. I am sure that they are MR16 bulbs, probably 60W. yes, the highest ones are probably 12-14' above floor.

    The island countertop is Zinc.
    The main countertops are honed, volcanic stone slabs (light gray) - similar to a Basalt stone, same material as the tile flooring. (Ref: Stone Source).

    The Ceiling is Oak boards with a custom stain; the purlins are steel I-beams with a custom "bronze" patina. The dormer ceilings (barely seen in left corner of this image) are steel panels with custom "bronze" patina - to match the Exhaust Hood in Kitchen.

    Thank you, Studio Frank designed this custom hood canopy (over a Viking Exhaust kit). We matched the shape and proportions of the Gas Fireplace that we designed across the room - slightly tapered and veneered with metal planks.
