I, too am interested in the wall treatment and the type of wood panels…Is it tongue in groove? I love that look.

I think you can just use them as a valence and under mount something like a bamboo shade that can roll up tight or if you can fit even a compression rod (cheap) in the box you could do a light weight light color fabric and some black iron or bronze tie backs or hooks to the walls OR just let them hang straight pulled wide open. = AWESOME ROOM BTW! (love everything about it)

The doors and windows of the home were all fitted with Lutron shades and were fully integrated into the control system.

Hi acharland! Given the minimal thickness of this paneling, it looks like a product called Stikwood which is a real wood veneer that is peel and stick application. Comes in many different finishes. If you would like details on ordering the product, please feel free to email me through the link in my profile. Thanks!

11. Use asymmetrical rugs in oddly shaped rooms. When in doubt, a faux-cowhide rug or another asymmetrical rug is a great fit for an unusually shaped space, as the organic form plays well tucked in odd corners or floating in the center of a larger space, even layered over a larger carpet.

This is a great example of variety. This is because it has a vintage dresser along with very modern walls.
