Paint colors will appear different due to the time of day, type of lighting, camera used and the settings on your computer's monitor. We are often reluctant to post paint colors for these reasons, and always recommend you get swatches and samples to ensure you get the color you desire.

Colors always appear different under different lighting conditions, monitor settings and photo prints - This is why you shouldn't make a color choice for your home based on a photograph of someone elses home viewed on a computer screen or in a magazine.

Totally agree with ladycage. I have two sidelights and 3 small active boys shades would never work and wouldn't have looked as good. We got simple but effective films at home depot for a great price but i know that there are companies that have a lot of fun designs like pearlized mosaics.

Ashley Norton, Baldwin, Emtek, and a few other companies have this type of look. The photo doesn't allow me to see close enough to determine which one it is.

LDa Architecture & Interiors...do you have the floor plans of this home somewhere? I'd love to see how it all lays out. This is very interesting.

I guess it depends on location. Some quite elegant house have been built on country property. Some farmers added on to basic small houses, making them much more spacious.
