It's a porcelain tile that looks like wood, and I think it's from either Marazzi Tile or Dal Tile. Possibly even Florida tile. It's gorgeous.

This architecture firm is no longer in business which is why no one has responded. I did work for them and know the floor is oak stained a brown black finish with a satin sealer - it is NOT a porcelain tile. It was a custom wood floor - no specs available - you just need a very experienced wood floor company.

What Houzz contributors are saying:

Paul Anater added this to Alternatives to Granite Countertops, Part II
At first glance these counters look like they've been splashed with fluorescent paint, but they're a natural stone called sodalite. It's often sold as a granite but it's a different mineral all together.Sodalite's not as strong as a true granite but its arresting color more than compensates for that lessened strength.

1. Countertop. This rich royal blue color is known as "Sodalite". The blue gives an unexpected touch to the overall design.
