what kind of tiles on the floor? What is the name of the vanity and where do I buy them?

  • Becky Harris

Actually the wall paint color is Woodlawn Blue by Benjamin Moore. Unfortunately, the floor tiles have been discontinued. The vanity is a custom piece designed by Fluidesign Studio.

Yes, most likely custom, I just made the same set up for a customer for around $600 in Kraftmaid cabinetry.

Not inset, but probably one third the cost. :)

I understand this is a custom piece, but what are the approximate dimensions?

I am wondering what paint colour is used on the medicine cabinet.

Thank you for the kind words. The wall color is Ben Moore - Woodlawn Blue. The vanity color is Ben Moore - Ozark Shadows. The countertop is a Carrara marble with a custom vanity & custom medicine cabinet. The flooring is a discontinued tile.

  • toddburns

Which Carrara marble did you use? Is there a difference between Bianco Carrara and white Bianco Carrara in marble slabs and mosaics? Or are they the same and the two names used interchangeably ?

Ideal installation: A recessed medicine cabinet is perfect for a bathroom renovation project, because a considerable amount of construction is already involved. Requirements: A recessed cabinet will need to have a framed box inside the wall to fit the model’s required dimensions on all four sides. Adding framing to accommodate this is a rather involved job. If your recessed cabinet is planned for an existing wall, you or a carpenter or contractor should first open up the wall to see what’s behind the surface. Do this before you buy the cabinet.A recessed cabinet cannot have any obstructions behind it, such as electrical wires, plumbing supply lines or non-load-bearing studs. If any of these are encountered, they probably can be rerouted, at a cost. However, load-bearing framing and venting pipes are difficult and perhaps impossible to relocate. If you have those, you’d have to select a different location for the cabinet or get a wall-mounted one.Browse bathroom medicine cabinets on Houzz
