    @ Linda Dooley :
As a source of magic and fantasy as an adult who has the money to afford such indulgences and luxury form working all their lives , I would think. this would be the ultimate gift of magic and goodness for me to leave for my grandchildren to even use as an ultimate home? It is stunningly designed and structurally amazing so why NOT use it as a primary home for generations to come after you. It would be the most amazing thing.?

Thank you very much for your kind remarks! Unfortunately we do not have any information about the standing lanterns because they were chosen by the home owner.

The door and hand forged hardware were all custom designed for this project. Unfortunately we are unable to disclose costs.

Thank you for your kind remarks, squiffy! The mahogany butterfly window was designed by Archer & Buchanan and crafted by David Thorngate of New Castle, DE. The window hardware was custom designed and hand forged by Michael Cauldron Company, Inc. or North East, MD. Best of luck with your project

4. 'Hobbit House' in the Pennsylvania CountrysideInspired by the quirky hobbit dwellings in J.R.R. Tolkien's books, this incredible home in Pennsylvania embraces the fantasy of these stories but brings it into a practical realm for the family who owns it.

Custom light fixtures in the reception area lend period flavor; textured stucco inlaid with slivers of roof tile cloaks the fireplace. An arch and rafters made from Douglas fir define the ceiling and add to the air of exquisite craftsmanship.Timber framing: Summerbeam Woodworking, Oxford, Pennsylvania; interior and exterior millwork: French Creek Woodworking, Elverson, Pennsylvania; lighting: Vintage Lighting, Malvern, Pennsylvania
