Home Office Living RoomContemporary Home Office, Miami

The home office seemslessly merges with the living room as the custom leather-top desk-for-two hugs the curve of the back of the sofa, with its wave form and the wavy paneled wall giving homage to the waves crashing on the shoreline thirty stories below. The structural column becomes a focal point when clad in custom painted zebra glass panels with a linear light source embedded within. Photo shoot by professional photographer Ken Hayden

What is the minimum amount of space I would need to do something similar (even if of a smaller scale)? I love this idea, but live in an apartment. Not sure of the dimensions of my space, but from the looks of if, smaller than the designed space.

Yes, I would love to know more about the glass slab flooring, too. Colors, scratching, cost?

Interesting desk arrangement - opposite from usual, but I like the seating in front. Might be an option if we can’t do split level.
