Horizontal Fence, DrivewayContemporary Exterior, San Francisco

The front yard of a home sited off an unique shared street in the East Bay was transformed with elegant Ipe fencing and new sandblasted glass gate and carport walls - the street facing fence has two layers of horizontal fencing inside and outside to give a sense of lightness and depth without sacrificing visual privacy.

I'd like more information on where to purchase composite horizontal fencing products. I have a customer interested in purchasing located in Miami, Florida. ulisesarencibia@bellsouth.net

Sorry, we don't typically use composite fencing - the image shows Ipe solid wood, 2x4's.

Be neighborly: If you have close neighbors, be open about your plans to build a new fence, and do your best not to block views unless it truly cannot be helped. Depending on the situation, you may decide to create a party fence, which is shared with your neighbor — but be aware that if you choose to go this route, you should get a written agreement with your neighbor and hire a surveyor to determine exactly where the property lines are.
