LOL, it's not brain surgery! :) Get a good night's sleep and a hearty breakfast and go for it. The accolades at the end will make all your trepidations disappear.

Can you please tell me where the curtain rods are from? Love the monochromatic look with the drapes and walls and absolutely love the finials on the curtain rods!

The client had this chest in her previous home. Yes, it does hide the television.

If your walls are similiar to this mstr bdrm, while very nice, I am going to have to rethink my choice of Anew Gray for my new condo-I wanted a gray color and this doesn't look gray to me at all! I have chosen Shaw Elsmere in Crushed Ice for carpet and Mohawk Avada Grigio 20x20" tile to coordinate with Anew Gray...but now will rethink it!

No I cannot, we did not supply carpet for this client. She worked with Margot Oven for some of the furniture and window treatments, perhaps she did the carpet as well. She has a Houzz page as well.

The ceiling was a tongue and groove paneling added over drywall. The beams were cut and fit to the space and were one piece of solid stock.

Yes, a carpenter should be able to do this for you very easily.

9. Cottage style with slanted ceilings. Houzzers had a thing for slanted ceilings in 2012, so it makes sense that this bedroom was a favorite. Contrasting colors and exposed beams draw attention to this fun feature, while glossy white paint helps reflect natural light throughout the space.

Rather than blue, how about this darker play on Metropolitan for the contrast wall. It's Benjamin Moore Stone - 2112-40
