This looks like Liberty Hill granite mosaic. It is available from O/G, Stone Depot, and Better Stones in CT. This picture shows the square and rectangle version of this stone. The fireplace photo is a mosaic cut.

The ceiling is made of mdf boards, with a custom milled ship lap joint for the reveal. The paint is a custom mixed color....very pale blue gray.

Hi addy, Thanks for your nice comment! No, there aren't any recessed lights in this room. The chandelier and a pair of sconces are the only fixed lighting.

Wow I love this! This is very similar to a family room I'm trying to figure out, which currently has all wood paneling and wood ceiling & beams. Stone fireplace is very similar too! Wish I knew what shades were used here, as I would copy it exactly! It really opens up the room!

Thanks for your interest and your nice comments. I seem to remember the Horizon actually looked too blue to the client. So she ended up selecting a different blue and adding an off white. Paint colors will look different in every room of every house because of natural light, ceiling heights, and other colors in the space. You are better off selecting and mixing the colors and trying samples in your room to find the right one.

Well traditionally it would be sort of colonial...however I think it's great to break the rules a little...you could have a modern feel, a beachy feel, a transitional feel, or even a very formal look. Anything goes as long as it's done well.

Customize for the perfect piece. Having difficulty finding the perfect seat combination? Look into ordering a custom sofa. Many manufacturers can change sofa dimensions and cushion configurations to suit your needs. For example, the sofa in this picture typically comes with two seat cushions, but it was customized to have a bench seat instead.More Sofa Secrets: How to Choose the Right Sofa Back | How to Choose the Right Arm Style
