Built in the 1980s, this colonial home still featured its original kitchen, which was configured with inconvenient access to a newly minted outdoor kitchen and entertaining space. The PB Kitchen Design team used the warmth of the cabinet finish and the soft, rounded shape of the island to attract conversation with guests during meal prep. The glass tile backsplash does not hold back and travels to the ceiling which makes for an attractive finishing detail.
Project specs: Cabinets by QCCI, New Holland, PA, Glass tile backsplash by Tile Gallery of Chicago, Eclipse hood by Best, Sub Zero integrated refrigerator, Wolf cooktop.
