Thank you Jamesthomas interiors for your reply. But, Is it what it's used on the floors in the picture shown. Or It's your recommendation!! :-))

For our project we used a satin finish.

Would this color/look work on pine do you think? I have a new, wide pine floor in my newly renovated kitchen. I want a grey finish, and not sure the best product to use. Thank you in advance.

Was this a water based poly on the oak floors?

Thank you . I hope to find one in Toronto. If the room is only 10 feet wide, that would leave only about 2 feet on each side. In the photo there seems to be more space between the chairs and the walls.

Perhaps the dining area is wider?

    jamesthomas Interiors

There is a space of @ 2'-6" between the chairs and FP - same for the other side.

Greetings ram5958. Glad you were able to find the chairs pictured above. For our project, the chairs were already owned by our client - we just simply had them recovered in a fabric to coordinate with the palette.

How do I go about finding the dining chairs in the jamesthomas Chicago project? I love them.

can i ask what simple wall color was used to offer the perfect balance of light and dark?
  • PRO
    jamesthomas Interiors
Hi Joy. I am so sorry but we no longer have the paint schedule for this particular project. Thought "Revere Pewter" from Benjamin Moore has been our go-to neautral as of late.

Where can we buy the chandelier?

  • PRO
    jamesthomas Interiors

The chandelier most likely needs to be purchases through a designer. Ochre has a showroom in NYC; 1 (212) 414 4332. Hope this helps!

Thank you so much! It has been a long time but I believe the stain was by Minwax.

Our apologies but the chairs were "by owner" and we had them recovered in an ultra-suede.

The surface of the fireplace is a tile. The tile is called "rock face" and is available at Materials Marketing in Chicago.

Could you tell me how far is it between the floor and the bottom of the fire box?

    What Houzz contributors are saying:

Lawrence Karol added this to Houzz Tour: A Chicago Loft Rises to the RaftersMar 7, 2012

The square dining table belonged to the owners, and Riker says it worked great in the space. He had the chairs recovered and added an oversized round Ochre chandelier to ground the space. "The living room has some big pieces of furniture, so we wanted this to be a very sparse room and didn't want to clutter it up with a rug."

    What Houzzers are commenting on:

i don't like this one, too modern and cold. like the first dining table we bought

rrichcg added this to Via ArezzoJan 17, 2019

The table came from Design Studio here in Chicago. Table is 66" square "Revere Pewter" from Benjamin Moore
