This room looks like fun! Simplistic, with great potential. I think running 2x4's along the bottom to create a baseboard would be a great way to run wires so they aren't exposed. Then cap the baseboard with 2x4 to create a shelf.

My questions--- 1) the floor, laminate or the real deal?

2) do the paintings reflect what is outside the windows? :)
