Thanks. Do you know where to go for more color ideas? I have small beach area cottage type but love color.

They are wood doors with glass in the middle and divided lites (meaning they are divided up into smaller panes). We installed pocket doors in both walls of this room.

Hi Pixey - I'll see if I can get an answer from the homeowner on that. Stay tuned...

Hi, thanks for your inquiry. The homeowner purchased this chair off of Craigslist, and had it recovered with fabric from Maharam - I believe the pattern is called "plural 004 poppy"

Deep turquoise. Your room's nautical feel doesn't have to include an obvious beach theme. With a simple color combo of turquoise and orange, any room can feel beachy without looking overdone.Paint pick: Fun 'N Games 647 by Benjamin Moore

Pay attention to the diagonal. Here the pattern lines up three different colors in diagonal lines.

5. Serve as a table lamp. Desk space is valuable real estate. In this colorful office, a simple drum shade is brought down to just above the desk as a soft work light. The simple white shade doesn't detract from the colorful designs, but provides the perfect amount of task lighting.

A tri-color area rug in aqua, orange and chartreuse is colorful and fun in this home office. No pad is needed and you can lay the tiles yourself. FLOR, for instance, offers adhesive dots to connect the bottom side of the tiles. ECOFlorr tiles have a peel-off backing.

Rule 6: Just a few inches of floor around the rug Here is a successful application of the rule to run the rug up to within inches of the wall around the entire room. While a traditional approach, it feels modern here due to the decor decisions.

Use kitchen habitat table for studio upstairs. Place table perpendicularly to window, like in photo, to maximise table footprint for 2 people. Get 2nd hand round table for the kitchen. Shpock,
