What brand is this microwave and how deep are the upper cabinets?

That microwave is a Panasonic. The wall cabinet is standard 12" deep--but is made for a microwave with a shelf that is around 18" deep. We added a horizontal filler to close the gap above it and make it look more built-in.

I'm unsure of the model, but know it was by Panasonic. The cabinet is 12" in depth (the shelf is about 15").

The side panels are 3/4" thick, and the fridge vents at the bottom. It's not a built-in, it is counter-depth--we gave a it a built-in look by fitting the panels to the depth of the refrigerator and suspending the upper cabinet between them. The panels were ordered extra wide so they could be cut down to the proper depth. A 24" wide refrigerator side panel would not have been deep enough.

So how much deeper are the fridge side panels so as to make this counter depth fridge really look built in! Thank you!

This particular model has a very low-profile hinge.

Hi. These are KraftMaid cabinets. I know the wood species is birch, but I can't recall the name of the door style. You'll find it is called different by different names depending on where you are shopping (a home center vs. a local dealer). Also, their finish/color options change from time to time and I am unsure if this color is still available.

    Hope that helps.

The cabinets in this image are called Mandolay at your dealer locations; Somersworth at The Home Depot; and Provence at Lowe's. Unfortunately, the finish has been discontinued and is no longer available.

I like these grey cabinets, with large white subway tiles. Small tile backsplash is too busy.
