Your parents are very lucky to have you researching something so generous. To be perfectly honest, we do not have these costs on file for the project. Typically, the materials are purchased as packages. This stone was part of the same lot or bundle that composed 4 fireplaces and the exterior base of the house. Therefore that quantity effects the cost / square foot. Same goes for the beam package. When you get closer to your project and having firm plans, the yards will be able to quote more accurately for you. Good luck!

Greetings! We found this collection of old iron cookie sheets at an antique market. They were approximately 24" x 36" each. I do not know what product was used to secure them, but our GCs, Highline Partners, can help you out. They are great guys!

The stone around the range (and throughout this home) is Harlowton Stone. It was set with masonry mortar that is a natural grey color and you really don't see from the face of the stone. Good luck with your project!

Thank you for your kind words! The stone surround at the range is actually the backside of an outdoor fireplace, therefore this was designed in collaboration with the engineers to make sure there was enough steel and structural support behind it. The cabinets were essentially built up to this structure.

These cabinets are made from reclaimed oak. We used a matte poly sealer to enhance the natural tones in the wood.

That particular rug is a vintage Navajo rug that we found through a dealer who deals in American Indian artifacts. You can find these rugs in antique markets, through dealers and estate sales.

William, I love this kitchen! is the panel behind the stove steel plate? I have also made custom large pulls like these. The raw casting photo is a branch from the clients property. I also made a solid bronze railing from this branch. While the wax is warm, we bend the branch into different shapes.
I have made large custom offset pulls for the fridges too.

Fully integrated means that the appliance is cabinet depth and completely enclosed by the millwork. Built-in indicates that the millwork comes up to / surrounds the appliance. Hope this helps!

The floor has a custom finish on it. When working with reclaimed material, it is always best to do stain samples on site to see how the varied materials are accepting the stain. Many times, you end up with a custom blend to marry the boards. We always recommend testing on site! Good luck with your project!

The refrigerator / freezer units in this kitchen are from Thermador (30" frig / 18" freezer). They are fully integrated models that allow for custom panels to be attached to the doors.

We used antique iron cookie sheets to line the interior surfaces at the range wall for easy cleaning. There is a typical exhaust fan within the range hood, you just don't see it due to the masonry design.

The liner is the coordinating piece from Thermador that works with their range below. You should use the recommended hood liner from your range manufacturer for best performance.

Reclaimed materials can look wonderful in many settings, East Coast to West. You should let the architecture inform the proportions and detailing of the cabinets so that they feel appropriate with the rest of the home.

The panels in this kitchen are not painted. The boards are reclaimed oak with a light sanding and clear coat sealer applied to them. You get amazing character from this material.

We found this great industrial fixture at Beau Holland Studio at ADAC. It is an antique pendant, most likely from a French factory.
