Polished Nickel is more of a warmer color than Chrome, but you can really only see the difference between them if they are placed next to each other.

My island will be 54" x 57". What size pendant do you think I should hang-I am thinking 2 and looking at the RH benson or the Argentino Nickel mini pendant. Thanks in advance.

The ones above are 13" diameter. I really like the over-sized industrial look of the these pendants. I would definitely use 2 pendants approximately this size. If I were going to do a "mini pendant" then I would use 3. Good luck!

Do you know how long the cord is for the RH pendants? We would like to use these in our kitchen. However, the rods that it comes with aren't long enough for our 14' ceilings.

I do not have that information, but you can call RH directly. They would be glad to answer your questions.

We are putting in an island that is just under 8' x 4' with sloped ceilings that will be around 9' above island. Would you recommend the Benson or Harmon? How do I know what size to go with? Would you suggest matching the sink and faucet to the lights? We will have a polished chrome faucet and a stainless steel sink with no finish. White cloud quartz counter and white cupboards. Our backslash has the brushed stainless amongst grey/black horizontal rectangle glass. Thanks in advance.

The island is made of Alder, and I apologize but cannot remember the stain color. It was a semi-transparent satin stain by Cabot. Hope that helps.

This flooring is pre-finished from Lumber Liquidators called Virginia Mill Works 3/4" x 4-3/4" Golden Teak Acacia Handscraped. You can see it on-line. Hope that helps.

This sink is perfectly centered on the window. I think that you could off-center the sink and window only under the following condition:

    1. If there is no center mullion dividing the window equally because your eye is naturally drawn to the that center point.

    2. Also, the sink and window cannot be a major feature in your kitchen. For example, the entire kitchen is designed symmetrically starting with the kitchen window and sink.

If you can send a picture then that would be helpful.

Yes- I purchased the flooring from Lumber Liquidators. It is 3/4" thick by 5-1/2" wide hand-scraped plank solid teak flooring.

There is no glaze on these cabinets. The paint color is Cotton Balls by Benjamin Moore and the finish is semi-gloss. Thank you for your interest!

White marble is not the most practical choice for a kitchen countertop. It is more prone to staining than granite. White granite might be a better choice but there are limited selections out there. The backsplash is a mosaic by Artistic Tile called Sinuous in Calacatta Oro Marble.
    Good luck.

I do think that it would be a very nice look depending on the flooring, countertops and backsplash. I really like the casual and eclectic look!
