The project was a complete rear renovation involving a new swimming pool, patio areas, fireplace, outdoor kitchen, deck renovation, and surrounding landscape, and lighting.
The site was very challenging due to very steep slopes and a limited amount of land area to accomplish the overall goals of the project. Those were lawn areas for the kids to play as well as patio space for entertainment and a swimming pool. Due to county requirements, multiple infiltration trenches were needed to accommodate the Chesapeake Bay ordinances.

At the rear of the house, we have a walkout basement, this leads from the wine cellar and tasting room. From there you can walk across the large stone over the stream and enter the rear gardens. There are waterfalls on one side and the 'Hanging garden' on the other and a private seating area. All the construction for this home is brand new but looks like it has always been there for many years.

Connected to the walk-out basement, this paver patio living room and spa is the perfect place to unwind. Sinking the hot tub into the ground improves access, flow, and sight lines. Phantom screens can be pulled down to keep out mosquitos and flies. Look out at the verdant evergreens, or draw the curtains for more privacy.
