In answer to your question the cabinet interior is 16.75" wide x 51" high where the vacuum is located. The entire cabinet has a 34.5" wide interior and was divided into open and horizontal storage shelving on the right side. I would double check the vacuum size (w,d,h) as their dimension can vary slightly by type.
