Your dad is responsible for my living in Phoenix.

I lived at La Amistad, remodeled historical house interior
designed by your dad, right behind the Beef and Bottle restaurant in Winter
    Park Florida.

Your dad also designed the Hill House condominiums in Mount
Dora Florida. The Smathers owned both,
the restaurant in Winter Part and the Condos in Mount Dora.

For a time, your dad shared office space with another
architect, I cannot remember his first name, but his last name was
Donahue. I used to do office work for
them both in Winter Park, before I moved to Mount Dora to live with the
Smathers in the “Castle”. I was hired as
maintenance and landscaper for Hill House.

Donahue was a graduate of the Frank Lloyd Wright Taliesin in
Scottsdale Arizona and your dad was friends with Acosanti architect Paolo
    Soleris.

Both your dad and Donahue encouraged me to travel out to
Arizona which I did on January 1, 1972.

Donahue introduced me to several of his fellow Taliesin
graduates and I roomed with them until April 1972, at which time I attended my
    first Soleri workshop.

I settled in Phoenix and still live here to this day.

    Your dad got me here……….

Thanks. Have been looking for "just the right thing," and that came as close as anything. Too bad for me! Thanks, though, for the quick response!

This really doesn't look like SW Rainwashed! It must the the lighting when the photo was taken as SW Rainwashed tends to look much more "aqua" in person and less gray.

    The jambs are 5/4 x 6, heads are 5/4 x 8 with pencil mold and 1x2 cap.

The lamps are by the "Three Hands Corp". But, we found them at TJ Maxx.

Actually, it's not a bed frame. We built a wood cornice at 56" tall and installed bead-board paneling below.
