Good question.
Very much the wrong material for a floor as it is very soft. It would scratch, dent, splinter and all sorts of other things that you would not want in a floor. You'll want to ask your local flooring supplier to provide something with the same color but in a harder material suitable for a floor. We have used mahogany, mesquite and Brazillian cherry that have some of the same colorings.

The lowest part of the ceiling is about 8 feet and the highest about 14 feet. I hope this helps.
