We believe it was an antique found by the interior designer or homeowner.

Carroll: We wish we could tell you the paint color because it is fantastic in this potting room. However, the selection was made by the interior designer. The project was also completed 10+ years ago. Why don't you take it and have it color matched or find a chip that's complementary? We've often found that the translation from photograph to printing process to computer monitor severely distorts color, so if you like what you see on your monitor, it might be your best bet to work from that foundation. Good luck!

Thank you for your inquiry. We specialize in custom home design. Perhaps you can find a local professional on Houzz (either an interior designer or storage/closet organization vendor?).

Hello! it was a real brick floor. I believe the brick is Savannah Grey by Old Carolina Brick Company. They've more recently started making pavers and thin brick so you may be able to achieve the same look!

Me, too! I wish we could say, but the home was done nearly 15 years ago and I don't have record of it.

6. Keep it simple. This potting shed may be unassuming, but the combination of natural materials and colors is a winner. This look is ideal for those on a budget. The key principles of good design become even more important in a modest space: Maximize light, ensure that it works for its intended purpose, avoid clutter and keep it simple.By making the space uncomplicated and balancing the workaday elements with splashes of color and greenery, you can create a shed you’ll be happy to spend time in.

1. Weathered furniture. A shed is a great place for your old chairs and benches. No need for shiny surfaces and stain-resistant fabrics. This is your chance to track in dirt and scratch the furniture.

2. Choose rustic materials that aren't too precious. This beautiful carriage house is new but was designed to look like a barn that might have served the Lowcountry property in another era. It serves many purposes, including holding cars, but my favorite is the beautiful potting shed.Bin pulls, wood countertops and a brick floor give it charming antique style. It not only has room for preparing plants for the garden, but also has a sink so that the owners can prepare floral arrangements.
