We bought 2 of the large 19" diameter for our in-progress kitchen renovation. Our ceilings are 10' and our island is 9.5' wide x 4 or 5' ft depth. They look huge out of the box but is this what you would have done? Facing the island there is a large 48" stove on the back wall with a custom hood over it and 2 narrowing windows on each side of the hood. The sink is in the island. Just to give a visual. Would LOVE opinion! :)

Hello! Would definitely do the 15" over the 11". 9' is a pretty large island. For the spacing, as much as we draw it up, we always are on-site for the hanging and installing of electrical fixtures, sometimes you just have to eyeball it :) These pendants come with three 12" rods, and one 6" rod, so you should be able to find a good distance based on your ceiling heights, and also taking into consideration your own heights. Hope that helps, good luck with your project!

Pulls vary in size depending on location, but they are the Menlo Park pull from Schaub in Polished Nickel. We purchase them from West End Hardware in King of Prussia

What to Keep in Mind When Shopping for StoolsStudy the materials of your stool to understand how sturdy and durable it is. A heavier stool isn’t automatically stronger. Look for rubber pads underneath the stool’s legs to protect your floor from scratches. Do you need to save space because your counter area limited? If yes, then you may want to go with swivel stools. Alternatively, backless stools are great too. Another option is wooden stools that you can fold and stow away when not in use. Don’t forget to match your stools with your kitchen decor — you don’t want clashing designs. One idea is to match the shade of wood on your counter with that on your stool. The look will spell cohesiveness in your kitchen.More on HouzzWhat to Know Before Buying Bar StoolsKitchen Countertops 101: Choosing a Surface MaterialSee photos of kitchen islandsFind a kitchen remodeler Shop for bar stools and counter stools
