    Dear Jeanne,

Unfortunately, the kitchen designer is not usually the one
who picks wall colors, and in this project, our wonderfully creative homeowner
made those selections. This prep sink area is a pure white with a teak
countertop. The door to the potting room is reclaimed chestnut. The flooring is
a terra cotta tile. I think all those brown tones work to ground the other pastel
colors used. My best advice is, save the photos and talk to a designer or someone
in a paint shop. Good luck!
