2. Punch up gray. If you want to use pastels but worry about veering into saccharine territory, keep things grounded with warm gray walls. Warm gray, or greige, is an extremely versatile foil for just about any other color and makes artwork look amazing.
When their second child came along, it was easy to transform the office into a nursery, swapping out the desk for a crib and the Keep Calm and Carry On posters for flags with the letters of the baby's name. Pops of pink were added to the gray, blue and white color scheme.
