This multi-purpose cabinet was designed for a master bedroom niche. The cabinet houses the clients' media equipment and integrates wire management throughout. A lit, recessed display area was designed to highlight personal items and an area for books was also incorporated into the solution.

That's what I do for a living. I design and build custom cabinetry. I subcontract my designs to a local cabinet maker who, with my input/drawings, builds out the design.

This was a custom solution. Try Room and Board for free standing cabinetry that accommodates entertainment equipment.

Organize Your MediaApproximate time: 1 to 6 hours (depends on how many DVDs and CDs you own and how quickly you can alphabetize)Materials needed: Cleaning supplies, box for recyclables, box for VHS tapes you'll have transferred to newer technologies, storage baskets/boxes, CD/DVD storage bindersTip: Take some shots along the way to remember all of the crazy Betamax or ridiculous home video topics that used to hog valuable storage space.
