Not sure how I feel about this trough sink!? Pretty yes but not very practical. Love the view in the mirror though!! :)

My bathroom view, neighbors to the right and behind me. I'm offering a Pre Black Friday special, inquire within. Also, if you see Santa or an elf, please remind him the only thing I ask for is a quick gentrification.

The marble sink is gorgeous! But what about the water drainage and how the water is drained away? What kind is the drainage ourlet, siphon or trap? If someone can give me more details about it or name of a manufacturer.

I don't think it's concrete. For me it looks like polished marble. Unfortunately there are no other pictures where we can have another look from a different point.

Marble is a calcareous stone, so it will react to acids in the water and the polished finish will become etched. An etched finish will minimize the appearance of stains. Like stated above, proper sealing is important as well.

Was this a drain system you had custom fabricated or did you find a ready made and then fabricated your sink to the drain specs? I'm working on one of these for a client and we are running into some dead ends when it comes to drainage. I appreciate any advice you can share.

We discussed the option of having the granite maker custom build the granite sink and he suggested that there be a sink under the cabinet that the water drains into that goes down the drain system. You just want to make sure that you are able to clean that sink under the cabinet

2. Wall-mounted faucets. Countertop faucets require space on the countertop between the sink and the wall, while those mounted over the sink save you that precious surface area. It can mean the difference between being able to fit in a tight sink or not. If you’re not a fan of wall-mounted faucets but are short on counter depth, see if you can place the faucet to the side of the sink. This will save you from having to expand the counter to accommodate the faucet behind the sink. Find a bathroom designer on Houzz

Seamless stone and minimalist wall-mounted faucets are easy to clean. If you like to drink red wine in the bathroom, then you might want to choose something other than white marble — but it is pretty popular for bathrooms.
