These tips go for cleaning all types of wood flooring, and not just parquet. It's best to be preventative if you want to keep your parquet floors in the best shape.

-In order to protect the finish and sheen of the floor, make sure to vacuum and dry mop pretty regularly. This will prevent dust and dirt from collecting and scratching the wood and finish. It is really essential that you do this often, because the seams of the parquet will collect more.
-Although some don't recommend any water on wood floors at all, a little damp mop of 1 part vinegar two parts warm water mopped on can benefit and clean the wood. Just make sure not to overly soak the wood with water, rinse with warm water, and immediately dry the floors with a clean towel. Allowing the water to soak into the wood will make it expand, and potentially break apart.
-Rugs also prevent a lot of damage. Placing rugs near entry points to the wood flooring, or in areas that receive a lot of foot traffic, will keep dirt particles off the wood.
