Thank you for the response! We are meeting with the guy who is staining our cabinets soon and this is very close to the color we are looking at for our kitchen island. I know we'll need to bring him a sample to start with, but would like to give him an idea of the color we are going for. Do you consider this to be ebony, walnut, mahogany, etc? Thanks again.

It would be more of a walnut/mahogany I would think. I have attached an image of my kitchen cabinet done in the same stain, The light is a little better and you are able to see the brown better. It also will depend on the wood that you pick for your island as to how the final stain shows up. But at least you have a starting point and can work from there. Good luck and would love to see a picture of the finished cabinets.

The home owners picked the flooring in alberta and brought it with them to have it installed. Sorry I don't have the name of the product.

Hi - I would love to share the wall cabinet colour with you .... I will contact the owners and see if they know what it is. As soon as I have a response I will post it for you. Being that it is almost the holiday break - it won't be until the new year. Thanks for the question.

Hello Jen - I tracked down the cabinet door colour for you. I hope you are talking about the white cabinets. It is a Benjamin Moore colour OC99- Desert.

these sure look yellow!!! I am about to paint my maple cabinets white in two weeks. I wonder if I pick a pure white if it will look less yellow in time? White Dove looks dirty in my kitchen when I put swatches up. I would imagine it would look even worse with time?

The backsplash is a light gray glass tile. The homeowners brought this with them from alberta. Sorry I don't have the name of the product.

                            3. GalleyWith fewer frills and a straightforward design, galley islands are built to be workhorses. They can be a good fit for any type of kitchen layout, assuming that there’s enough space for one. Pros. Often considered the quintessential island design for open-concept kitchens, galley islands ensure that your space has flow and remains efficient with their streamlined design. They usually maximize storage space because there aren’t any corners or curves. Appliances and stored items are always accessible. The design also favors bar-style seating.

like the double oven. Microwave is a bit too high. Like the island as a dark color compared to rest of cabinets.
