Did you get push back from the storefront manufacturer? I can't find a manufacturer that will install in a single family residence. They all say they only do commercial

Hello. Thank you for your question and interest in our work. Not sure what you mean by pushback from the manufacturer. But I guess our answer is no. We worked with our installer and they provided and installed the windows as we'd specified them. Any component of the building's envelope must (in our opinion) be designed holistically, and there are other decisions that get made in concert with these choices (insulation, heating and cooling strategies, structural systems, etc). It sounds like you need a different installer, or an alternate fenestration solution. Best of luck.

What is the carpet brand? Is it wool carpeting?

Hello. Karastan carpet. It is wool, and it feels amazing to walk on.

Hello, thank you for your question and interest in our work. Oh my, that was several years ago. We can tell you that it was a beautiful wool carpet from Mohawk - the manufacturer was a partner in this project. And it felt like you were walking on a cloud! However, we do not have a record of the line or color.

Sounds glorious. :) Thank you for your help!

Hello. Thank you for your question and interest in our work. We had to dig through some older files to find this paint color - the project was completed a number of years ago. The Master Suite back wall is painted Sherwin Williams SW 7083 Darkroom. We hope this helps you with your project. Thank you.

Hello. Thank you for your questions and interest in our work. We spend a great deal of time designing the structural cadence of our projects while integrating the structural system into expansive window walls as you see here. The spans, spacing, and support details are unique and specific for each project, and need to be coordinated with a number of other aspects in a project. I'd recommend giving us a call to help with your project. Thanks again.

Hello. Thank you for your question and interest in our work. The ceiling above the custom designed trusses of this room rises to 13'-6". The truss configuration and fenestration patterns draw one's eye up and out to the tree canopies beyond. Thanks again.

Hello. Thank you for your question and interest in our work. The wall color on the far wall in this photo is Sherwin Williams Toque White SW 7003. The carpet was sourced directly from the manufacturer by the owners. It is from Karastan, and I can tell you it feels like walking on a cloud. Thanks again, and good luck with your project.

Hello. Thank you for your question and interest in our work. This space is thoughtfully fit within a collection of functions including a new outdoor terrace and also the master bathroom and bookended walk-through closets. All of these new spaces are located above the original first level footprint of this extensive renovation. This room enjoys two zones - one for sleeping and also a sitting area, and provides access to the private roof terrace. Its dimensions are approximately 11' x 29'. Thanks again.

The wall behind the bed is Sherwin Williams SW7083 "Darkroom". You may also look into the owner / interior designer: MANI & Co., which can be found here on Houzz. Thank you for the question and your interest.

For the new bedroom addition, Hoke and Maniaci wanted an industrial element. Bruns delivered with a composite wood and metal truss sloped ceiling. A partial privacy wall blocks views to and from neighboring houses while preserving the treetop scenery. “It’s quite illuminating up there,” Bruns says. “You never realize you’re in a fairly dense neighborhood.”Bed set: The Century House
